After reading the book, I wasn't sure what to make of it, to be honest. I've read a few teacher/student stories now, and this one is one of the longer ones up to this point, which I appreciated. I guess I just have mixed feelings about it.I'll start with the main couple. With regard to Trish, she grew on me. I didn't like her at first and thought her very shallow (and bored). Over time, I understood her better and liked her for it. Her relationship with her father was not explored enough in my mind, as I think it all resolved itself too nicely at the end. That was a golden opportunity for them to talk and understand one another better, but it was lost, sadly.
Her relationship with Levi, her teacher, was complicated. The more she saw him, the more she opened up to him. She fell hard and fast, and then circumstances changed. I'm trying not to give spoilers, so suffice it to say that it was about this point when I hated and liked Levi for what he was doing. The second half of the book was when I began to like him less and less. Even as he develops feelings for Trish, he's pushing her boundaries in good and bad ways, and becoming more selfish (and setting a bad example). As one reviewer put it, this story builds up really well, but after the first bout of sex, their relationship seems to suffer in my eyes. I think Trish was too easy on Levi at multiple points, and that bugged me as well.
The story kept me guessing what was going to happen next, which I liked a lot. I never really got to know any of the other characters all that well, except for Trish's best friend. She's getting her own story next, so I'm very curious to read that one and see if I like it a lot more than this one since I had issues with Levi. From a grammar perspective, the story is written well, and I have no complaints. The sex scenes were also really good, so if you like your steam, you've got it aplenty in the second half of the book.
If you like forbidden romance, especially student/teacher ones, then you should give this story a read. I think my issues with Levi won't be shared with many others, so I think you'll enjoy it.

Teacher edition by Heather Dahlgren Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I don't usually read teacher/student romances but this one was HOT. I read this book in one sitting, the characters Trish (18) and Levi(24) are so easy to relate to. You will find yourself on a roller-coaster of emotions with them, unable to put the book down as you experience the highs and lows of their steamy relationship. Teacher is a book that will keep at the edge of your seat, waiting to find out what happens next. What makes this book amazing is that you may think you know what is about to happen, but you really have no idea what's waiting on the next page. Brilliant.
One of the themes I enjoy reading about is the teacher/student romances, which forbidden love, which comes to think about it is probably why in Pretty Little Liars, I was all about the Ezria relationship. In Teacher, compared to a lot of other teacher/student books I have read this was more tamer in the storyline. It starts off in a coffee shop where Trish is running late to school and has a collision with her coffee, and a hot guy is standing behind her in line. The hot guy turns out to be Mr. Wild aka Levi, her new English teacher. You can guess where this is going to go as though Levi tries to put boundaries in, Trish wants what she can't have, and in this case, it's Levi. Trish wants to head to fashion school, but what will happen when her romance gets out of control with Levi and rumors and whispers start to happen? A teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson was a slower read than I am used to and is more about the "I should stay away from you, but I can't" storyline rather than the hot passionate romance between a teacher and a student. What will happen though when Trish discovers Levi's other identity? I did like the twist that they put on the ending and reminded me of a bit of what Drew Barrymore's character went through with her teacher in Music and Lyrics. If you are on the look for a teacher/student romance, then check out Teacher by Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson today.
I don't usually write bad reviews, as I figure, each to their own, but I really think this book needs some balance - I bought it because of the great reviews.... (and the cover!!!)
It may have gotten better, but at the 27% mark I'd had enough - Trish was a shallow and narcissistic bi*ch.... and the writing wasn't very good... I can't explain what was wrong with the writing, only that if made me cringe....
I haven't read many teacher/student romances but I did just finish Dark Notes which was beautifully written... that's how a student/teacher romance should be written - sorry to the author....
As I start all my reviews, there are four elements that to me make a great book. It must make you laugh, cry, want to throw it, and then never want to put it down. Heather Dahlgren and Ella Emerson blew my mind with this fun, witty book, Teacher. This story is everything you'd expect from these authors - hot and steamy with great characters and a believable romance and I absolutely devoured it. Of age lady character ready to embark on the world falls for a man in the coffee shop the rest is history right? No far from it and since I don’t do spoilers you are just going to have to read this hot number yourself!
I loved this book it was emotional and it made me cry and it made me smile and it made hot and bothered in a good way I love ❤️Romance keep them coming.!!!!!!
This is the first Teacher/Student book I have read and I have to say that it was such a Wild ride ;)
This is a story about a forbidden love between a teacher and his student.
Levi Wild, the new English teacher...the new hot English teacher that had no idea, that the most beautiful girl he had ever seen was a student in his English class.
Trish Tess, struck by a handsome man only to learn that he will be her forbidden love
At first, both Trish and Levi contemplate the consequences of what may come from starting something forbidden but cannot face the fact that its impossible.
I won't into anymore about this book because you'll have to read what happens between teacher and student.
Congratulations on writing such a wonderful book
